Todd's Race

Look for the yellow dot and there you will find Todd.

Well he did it! Todd finally competed in his first official bike race. He rode for 30 minutes around and around (according to McKenna) in sort of a square pattern reaching speeds of about 30mph for 16 laps. I was so nervous around those crazy corners that he was going to fall or wreck his bike that we can't afford to replace. But he did really well he kept up with the pack and didn't eat asphalt. He will have to continue to race to move up to the really fast races. Which I am not sure I will be to happy about because we went back to watch the pros race who can reach speeds up to 45mph and witnessed are ally bad crash where a guy somehow got a bloody head even with his helmet on and was hauled off by ambulance. Thank God it takes a professional who rides at least 500 miles a week to get to that stage which Todd doesn't really have time for. Thanks for reading and happy riding.
