Happy Easter!

What a miraculous day Easter is. I am so thankful to our Savior for all that He has done for us and to be able to celebrate it with my family is such a blessing. We began rejoicing a few weeks ago teaching McKenna what it was all about through “Resurrection Eggs.” It's a cool little game that connects the true meaning of Easter and the commercialized meaning with plastic eggs filled with small representations of "things" that help a child understand the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What is really amazing by the end of the two weeks McKenna really seemed to understand who Jesus is and kind of understood what he went through. They are so capable of learning and understanding so much. And then of course we like to enjoy the other part of Easter with dying eggs, baskets, egg hunts, candy and of course food lots of food. Todd and I have his family and my family over for the day. And once again my mom brought the most amazing cupcakes. I hope you all had a great Easter and I can’t wait to check out the happenings on your blogs.
