Boys will be boys! So we went on this Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland. McKenna was trying to shoot her laser and I was trying to keep Addie calm. And as you can tell by the points Todd was taking the laser shooting very seriously. I died laughing when I saw this photo. Disneyland e-mailed the picture to us rather than making us buy it. We had a great time going on all the "kiddy" rides. You might not think so but seeing the park through their eyes is an amazing thing. McKenna wasn't to sure about the indoor rides like "Mr Toad's Wild Ride" and "Peter Pan" so we just went on the rides she could watch before we got on. I was so glad to have the carrier we had Addie in because she was able to bury her face if she didn't like something.
McKenna didn't want to get close to any of the characters but she sure loved seeing and meeting all of the princesses. Which was sort of strange to me because she doesn't even know who they are. I guess little girls are just drawn to foofy dresses and pretty ladies who are nice to them and tell them how cute they are.
Addie had fun too!
I know this post is getting really long but the fam likes to see it all. We also visited California Adventure where yes High Musical performed. We saw it twice and McKenna even went up to dance with them at every chance she got. She also stood next to Minnie and wasn't afraid.

OhMyGosh!! It looks like you guys had a great time! I love all the pictures of the princess's. Delaney loved Snow White the best when she was that age.
Ok... I checked your blog and it is so great. You are definitely better at this than I am. Your D-land pictures are amazing! I can't believe you saw ALL those princesses! You all looked like you had so much fun, wish we were there. :(

you actually made disneyland look like it was intended to be "the happiest place on earth". as I don't remember it as such the last time i visited, only because I was people watching and most families did not look so happy. though I guess if you are happy, you could be anywhere and it'd be the happiest place on earth. thanks for sharing, you give me hope that one day I might make it to that place I so loved as a kid and be able to share it with terje. and whoa, talk about princesses...a little ironic huh?
