The Buzz of December

I love this time of year. Here are just a few things we have done to get into the holiday spirit.Todd always does such a great job on the lights.
My grandma sent us this 7-foot ferris wheel. The girls love it.

We decorated the tree. Addie wasn't that interested but McKenna loved it. Every time we pulled an ornament out of the box McKenna kept saying "oh that one is my favorite." My mom buys the girls and ornament every year. McKenna chose a pink Barbie ornament and Addie chose a little girl decorating her dog. (Well Mommy picked it out but I sure this will be that last year I will get to do that.)

Last year we started a new tradition by going to this really cool house in our area that has a ton of lights and decorations. They have a little show where the lights are set to the music, they have snow and they hand out candy canes. One day Nana came dressed just like McKenna so you know I had to make them pose for a picture. Not every little girl has a great-grandma to play with so I want to make sure McKenna remembers these moments and how special they are.McKenna had her first Christmas Program at her school. She had to sing 7 Christmas songs that were changed to make them more about Jesus (wow what a concept a Christmas song about Jesus.) She did so good she sang every word to every song we were so proud.
