"Suzie" Our Elf on a Shelf

So Santa delivered an Elf on the Shelf to our house a few days ago and the girls are just loving the magic she possesses. Suzie, named by Addie, sits on a shelf in our house every day to watch the girls. At night when they are sleeping she will fly to the North Pole to tell Santa if the Jackson girls have been naughty or nice. When she returns she finds a new place to sit. Every morning the girls wake up and go running around the house to find Suzie's new location. They may talk to her but Suzie cannot talk back and they absolutely CANNOT touch her, if they do her magic will be lost. Mommy and Daddy also love the magic of Suzie because all we have to do is say "Suzie is watching" and the girls jump up and do as they were told. Just another fun way to enjoy the magic of Christmas through the eyes of little ones.

Such a great idea! McKenna is so excited about her too, when she came over she talked all about Suzie!

so cute! Terje's best friend has an elf on his shelf, and same thing...so excited to see where he is in the morning...maybe we'll play along next year. ;o) I love that the Addie named her Suzie, she looks like a suzie.
